Clean facility - bathrooms, kitchen, office rooms and grounds

Basket of Manna / Food Distribution


Help pick up donated food
Sort and shelve donated food
Donate canned and dry foods
Donate gallon and quart size zip-lock bags

 

Extended Learning Time


Tutoring (monday-Thursday 3:00-5:00
Tutor math,reading and writing
Tutor in computer lab
Read to Kindergarten group
Teach basic music: piano, guitar
Lead art and craft projects
Chaperone field trips

Adult Computer Class


Help teach beginning class
Help teach advanced class

Teen Ministry


Teach Life skills
Help with service projects
Help with youth retreats
Serve as a mentor
Teach auto mechanics
Teach carpentry and masonry 

Sarah's Daughters - support group for women of the community


Attend meetings to pray and share with women
Lead group discussion
Serve as an accountibililty and prayer partner
Develop retreat programs

Santa's Last Stop - program to help needy families at Christmas


Assist with finding sponsors for families
Donate gifts
Sort and wrap gifts
Deliver gifts

The Potter's House Summer Program


Serve as Day Camp group leader
Assist with obtaining sponsors for children
Plan events and coordinate volunteers
Fundraising for scholarships 

Monthly Community Lunch and Special Events


Food preparation
Site setup and take down
Facility and grounds clean up  

Clothing and furniture Closet


Pick up donated items
Sort clothing and other items


We encourage friends, relatives and neighbors to get involve in The Potter's House ministry. We are constantly seeking new ways how The Potter's House can be an expression of Christ's love in our community to those who are marginalized, disenfranchised, and excluded.
