“The Potter’s House has meant more to me than I can express, but I know for sure that the ways they’ve served me have vastly exceeded the ways I’ve helped them. Their influence has helped me grow more passionate for people: children who need help in school, parents who need money and guidance , and others -just like me-who need community. At the Potter’s House, volunteers don’t just volunteer, they become part of the family.”
Anne Murphy, Wake Forest Student and Potter’s House volunteer
“The Potter’s House after school program has helped me greatly with caring for my daughter and assisting her with homework. I’ve gotten letters from her school stating how much better she is reading. I can only attribute her improvement to the assistance she has received through the after-school program.”
